This and That!

It's been a while since I shared phone pics! So here goes :)

This is from back in February! Merritt's first trip to the dentist!

He did great with the dentist, but didn't want anything to do with the assistant!

all done!

hiiii!

coloring Sheriff Callie pictures!

movie night! We finally got Frozen two days ago and have watched it at least 10 times! He loves it!

Sweet baby! He sleeps so GREAT in his big boy bed!

The Farmer has started planting, so things are a little different around here! Usually he puts Merritt down for naps and bedtime, and gives him his bath, well, now that he is gone, those are Mommies duties...bathtime has been fairly successful with the help of bubbles and all his sea animals!! We had kept them in his playroom, so he thinks it's super fun to play with them in the tub! Nap has not gone very well, but I'm proud to say I just put him down for the night and it only took me three books, two sets of prayers, one song and he was out! SCORE!!

Seaworld in the tub!

He rode in the tractor for awhile tonight with the Farmer "helping" plant, I knew it was going to be a disaster when he had to come back inside....but thanks to a sucker and all these bubbles, crisis was averted!!

Nothing too fun going on around here lately, I am just getting SOOO excited for this babe to be born! One of my besties/roommate from college just had her baby yesterday (a precious baby girl! Can't wait to meet her when I go home this fall!) and she was due 10 days before me, so I told the Farmer that we only had to wait 10 more days!! haha!! Ohh if only it worked that way! But I guess you never know :)

In the Dark!!

I was really looking forward to doing this glow in the dark egg hunt and last night the weather was perfect! After church, we had a big Easter dinner with The Farmer's Daddy's side of the family, then decided to be super lazy until around 7:00 pm, it still wasn't quite dark enough, so we played outside and took a quick "Bota" ride until about 8:30, which was way past his bedtime...but bedtimes are so overrated!! hehe! I knew he would like the glow eggs but he totally thought it was THE BEST!! After he found all the eggs, he popped them open and loved playing with the glow sticks in the dark...better pick up a few more of them (you can get packs of them at the dollar tree) for some fun summer nights! Who knew they would be such a hit!?! I had to use my point and shoot camera since my good one was dead, so I couldn't really capture the "glowing," but you get the idea! There is also a video on youtube  https://www.youtube.com/user/beefhayleymoss  :)

Such a great Easter Sunday. He is Risen! The Farmer has been reading the Easter Story to Merritt at bedtime, during the sermon one of the slides must have looked like the book because he pointed and said "Jesus, Jesus!" I asked him again later who it was, when another slide came up, and he said "TeeBee" (which of course means T.V...the slides look like a huge T.V.) I guess that slide must not have looked like the book! ha! But at least he recognized him once :)

Kinda sad Easter is over, but I'm just so glad I got to do all the fun things with him that I had planned!! I really wanted his last Easter as an only child to be fun...success! Now to put away all the eggs and bunnies and start the countdown for McCoy to arrive!! :)

the books and stickers where in the back of his basket....The cookie cutters are for the playdoh :)

he got some more Cars Micro Drifters to put in his Mack truck and didn't even have to go on the potty to get them! Good thing, because he hasn't done that for a week..oh well :) These two came in cute Easter Egg packaging..should gotten a pic before he opened it!

all ready for church! The Farmer wanted to know where his Easter Basket was?!?! OOPPSS! He usually says not to get him anything, so this year I didn't!! Guess I better not forget his basket next year! #sadfarmer   hehe:)

Sheldon Easter Egg Hunt!

This year we decided to try a different towns Easter Egg Hunt (last year), this one was outside, so I thought it might be a little less insane...wrong!! haha!!

ready to go!!

terrified of the Easter Bunny....this is why I didn't take him to the mall and pay $25 for him to not sit on his lap!

not having it!

thank goodness for The Farmer!

all the eggs! Not much of a hunt! ha!

chaos!!

not too sure about this?!?!

getting the hang of it! I may or may not have yelled for him to push!! hehe :)

got one!!

I thought the parents were supposed to stay behind the line, but nobody was following the rules, after a bit I went and helped him, should have just went with him right away but he did pretty good without us. It was just hard to find anything with the adults walking around too! Maybe Mamma should have done some pushing too! HA!

all over, he ended up with about 10 eggs, not bad :)

the eggs had candy in them, that we emptied out, then gave back, I thought he might freak out to have his eggs taken away, but he was more interested in the candy! Next we waited a few minutes for them to draw for the bikes, when we didn't win, we headed home! He had more luck last year, but this was a very fun time too! We are going to have his glow in the dark hunt tomorrow night, so he can have all the eggs he wants! Can't wait :)
