Photography!!

I met with my fabulous photographer this morning, and in all the planning madness I realized I never posted about her!! You have to check out her blog!! http://vanessabartels.blogspot.com/

This is the link to the engagement session she did for us back in November at the Farmer's Farm! I can't wait for the wedding pictures, they will be amazing!!! :)

Just had to take this pic!!

I love the way all these flowers look all together!! These are for the cut lime vase centerpieces!!

4 more days!! :)

Welcome Bags= Done!!!

The OOT Guest bags turned out pretty cute..I decided to use a green gift bag to put everything in, then included the green canvas bag inside the gift bag so guest can use it for dirty clothes or whatever they need it for!!

Where do I sit??

I printed these out and glued them to plain place cards, so the girls will know where to sit at the bridal brunch! It was a super easy project and looks soo cute! Can't wait to see all my girls!!! :)

I am obsessed with the logo!! :)

Programs= finished!!!

They turned out spectacular!! And look oh soo cute in the pink baskets!! :)

Pew Bows with a Southern flair!

I love them!! This is just the first one...Momma is working on them as I type (shhh don't tell that I am blogging instead of helping her!!) She is trying different looks with the feathers but this is the general look we are going for!! Just in case you didn't know, the flower is a magnolia...Mississippi's official flower!! I can't wait to see them all together in the church!!

It's time for some pillow talk!!

I searched high and low for a cute ring bearers pillow..nothing I found seemed to work. Yeah, I'm picky...but I'm ok with that! Anyway, The Farmer's Aunt is a fantastic seamstress, so I asked her to make my dream pillow and boy did she deliver!! It is sooo flippin cute! I just got her a plain, cheap (not so cute) white ring bearers pillow, some material, and ribbon...and voila!!!

It is too fabulous for words!! Asher is going to look soo cute walking down the isle!! I can't wait!! Only 5 more days!!!
My Momma is here with me for the week, we have cleaned the house and gotten things unpacked. Today we are working on the pew bows for the ceremony! Stay tuned for pics!!!

The Farmer sent these fabulous pink and white Gerbera Daisies!! This is what we are having at the wedding...I love that boy!! :)

Gorgeous!!!

From My Momma and Daddy!! I can't even name all the flowers but they are beautifull!! I can't wait to give them both a huge hug!!

And really fun balloons!!

I have no room to work...I think I should go home ;)

My last Birthday as a single woman!!

Today is my birthday...not the best Birthday I've ever had, but thanks to my friends/co-workers it's getting better :) While I was standing outside the office talking to my Daddy, the gang was up to this...

How sweet! When I walked back in, it was like a party exploded on my desk! I will miss these guys so much when I move to the Farmer's on Friday and start working from home. I have been pretty out of it all week...my Grand Daddy past away on Sunday, he had been very sick and in alot of pain. He is now in a better place and no longer suffering. My Momma told me to stay put up here since I am drowning in wedding plans (10 more days), have a magazine due at the printer today, trying to get things tied up here at the office, and get things together to move. It has been hard not being there, but he knows I'm thinking about him and will miss him soo much.

Love you Pa!!

Magnolia Madness

No, I'm not talking about my sweet corgi puppy! I'm referring to the actual flower! I am using Magnolias in a few places at my ceremony (on the pews and on the alter) as a nod to my Southern heritage. When I went on my hair trail run I had no idea if I wanted to wear a tiara or flower, after all was said and done I really had fallen in love with the flower idea. However, I was not in love with the flower I had gotten to use. It actually came off my dress, but it just didn't look the best in my hair. I searched and searched and finally decided to order this is creamy white Miriam magnolia flower hair clip with swarovski crystal fireworks spray in the center and a feather trail made of two different types of feathers (wispy and poofy) from Butterfly Enchantress's Etsy Shop. I thought having the Magnolia in my hair as well, would be a special touch! Since I didn't have it at my wedding hair run through, I decided to do a little photo-shopping to try and get the full effect!

Yes, I realize this is quite possibly the worst photoshop job ever, but you get the idea! Right?!?!
Isn't is fab!!
I can't wait!!! 19 more days to go!! Wow time is really flying now!! Click here to see how the programs are coming along! I just got all of them cut...now on to rounding corners and glueing circles!!

Being Welcomed to Weddzilla!!

On Monday I was checking out Shell's blog. I just love her ideas and we are both are hopelessly devoted to PINK!! She had just posted about Weddzilla and how she would be blogging for the site. I had checked the site out before, but this really intrigued me! I headed on over and began web stalking Weddzilla! I found some really good ideas and fun posts! Well you can pretty much guess what happened next...I clicked on the "Blog for Weddzilla" link and an application later I was e-chatting with Amy (with the Weddzilla site) about blogging the countdown to my big day, and beyond as a married chick!! Sooo exciting!!!
Stop everything and check out my introduction and watch for me on the site!! Super exciting :)

Another Dress!!

I got my dress for the Bridal Brunch!! It is super cute!! And the perfect color! I am going to wear pearls and some nude colored heels!! Love it!! :)

Destined for Each Other....

Yep, that's right! The Farmer and I were destined to be together. I knew the moment I met him I was going to marry him...ok I'm totally lying now, but I did think he was a great guy! We had soo much in common, I couldn't believe we hadn't already met! Even as children we enjoyed all the same pastimes....

Wearing High Heels:

ummm...I don't seem to have a picture of me wearing high heels but it looks as if the Farmer loved it...(please note his very manly "Proud to be a Farmer" T-shirt) hehe!! If I don't post again within the next 5 days, somebody come looking for me!! After he sees this, he may lock me up and throw away the key :)

Fireworks, Food, and Fun!!

As previously mentioned, we went to Yankton, SD for the 4th of July with the Farmers Momma's side of the family! By the way the Farmer informed me that its not actually a lake, more of a reservoir of the Missouri River, but by any means we stayed in cabins on a "body of water!" We got there late Friday night because we had to go to a friends wedding in Nebraska first. It was really pretty but I didn't get any good pics :(

Once we arrived in Yankton we immediately chowed down on Walking Tacos! Good thing we called ahead and put in an order with the Farmer's Momma! I had been waiting all year for these (they were featured on "the menu" last year, and I had never had them) Its basically a bag of Doritos crunched up with taco meat, cheese, and lettuce thrown in, along with whatever else suits your fancy ...i think I just like the whole eating out of a bag idea :) We hit the hay after eating and getting a sneak peak at baby Colton (Groomsman Dan and Tessa's new baby boy) soo precious!!

On Saturday, I spent the morning watching The Revolution on the History Channel...yeah I'm a history nerd and I'm ok with it!! Then, since it was cloudy/rainy, we hit the mall, which actually just meant JC Penny because everything else was closed! However, it was a very successful trip! The Farmer got 2 pairs of shorts and 2 polo shirts for the Bahamas...as you can imagine he does not own many outfits appropriate for the beach!! I tried, with no avail, to get him to try on the super cute preppy plaid shorts (even is Uncle and Cousin were on hand to help persuade)...we failed miserably! I guess I should just be happy he is even willing to wear shorts and flip flops...my Daddy wore boots to the beach for the longest time!! :)

We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging, reading, and watching more History Channel! The rainy mess finally let up late afternoon and we grilled Pork Loin, when I say "we" I mean The Farmer and Groomsman Dan...but they did let me be the "intern" which sadly I found out just meant I had to get them water from the cabin :( Nevertheless, the meal was super yummy!! And to top it off we had smores!! These are one of my faves, especially when I have the Farmer to warm up the marshmallow for me!! I always burn mine! We finally ended the evening with an amazing fireworks display on the dam. Soo fun!!

Now the real countdown begins!! I have 15 days of work left (3 weeks) then my Momma arrives, then I move to the Farmer's, then only a week until the BIG DAY!!! I now have to kick it into high gear and finish the programs and slide show...ohh and Thank You notes!! A bride's work is never done :) Hope every body had a Happy Independence Day!!

My Farmer, the marshmallow pro!!

Groomsman Dan and The Farmer grilling!

umm yeah...not soo great pics from the fireworks!

we give the fireworks two thumbs up!

Soo maybe the Farmer really does hate taking pictures?? Nah..I'm sure he just didn't want to be torn away from the fireworks show for one second!! :)
