Story Time!

Merritt went to Fall Story Time this morning! He had never been to the one at our local library, but he loved it, and some of his preschool friends were there too! Oh and he got a snack and got to check out a book, Fun! :)

He will go every Friday in October, it's drop off, so hopefully McCoy and I can hit up a park our do something fun while he is there, that is, if I can get him to stop falling asleep in the car!! Stay Tuned! :)

Harvest fun!

After story time this morning (more on that later!) we went out to help The Farmer combine! McCoy loved it for about ten minutes, then was over it! Of course, Merritt loved every second and stayed with The Farmer when, I took the wiggle worm home. Hoping McCoy will be a better "helper" next fall!! :)

In The Shadows! :)

Soo The Farmer and I only get each other stockings for Christmas, and this year I knew I wanted one of the Urban Decay Naked eye shadow palettes as a stocking stuffer!! The only problem was, they are pretty spendy and I could not decide which one (of the four) to get! I wanted all of them!! Duh! ;)

Well....I did a little searching, since I knew that other companies were making similar products, and came across these W7 palettes that are spot on dupes for the Urban Decay ones, for a fraction of the cost!! SCORE! :) Yall know I got all four of them, so don't even act surprised!! haha!! 

They are soo gorgeous and super pigmented! I decided to keep "Lightly Toasted" (dupe for the original Naked palette) and "In The Night" (dupe for the Naked Smokey palette) and save the other two for my stocking! I used the lightly toasted one this morning and the colors are so fab! I have been wearing it seven hours now (with primer), and no crease or smudging! All the reviews were stellar, but I guess you just have to see it to believe it!! 

This is not a great pic and doesn't really show all the different hues, but I just snapped it quick with my iphone, so that's what you get! ha!

You can get them off Amazon, it ships from the UK and said it was going to take a month, but it arrived in about a week! Some of the reviews said that their shadows were broken upon arrival, but mine were all perfectly fine! Woohoo!! 

I got this Urban Decay Ammo palette for Easter and am soo obsessed with it (can you tell Maui Wowie is my go-to!?!)  Loving that these W7 shadows are soo comparable!!

I'm so excited to try out all my new goodies! Just had to share my fun find with yall!! Safe to say, I wont need any new eye shadow for the next decade!

Halloween craft time! :)

We have been doing a few "crafty" things here! I LOVE that Merr likes to color, paint, stick, and generally make a mess with me! :)

I grabbed him one of these Mickey paint sets at the Dollar Tree (they are really stepping up their game in the kids craft dept! The mask below are from there too!) He absolutely loves these little paint sets! I love that they are only a buck, because he usually wrecks the paints by the time he is done with the pictures! ha!

These stamps were in his halloween happy bucket...he literally stamped all morning!! I got him some like these last Christmas and at Valentines, he has so much fun with them, I was sure he would love the halloween ones too! Who knew stamps would be so fun?!!?? I found him a big box of farm themed ones to give him for Christmas this year! Can't wait!

 Once he had stamped all the paper he could get his hands on, we decided to make some masks!! A bat and Frankie! Super easy and super fun! :)

McCoy still takes a morning nap, so we usually spend that time being creative! I have quite a few other things to make, do, and bake, but we are most excited about the trick or treat gingerbread village!! Stay tuned! :)
