Halloween Happys!

After Supper, we put the boys in their halloween jammies and gave them their happys! I just love this tradition and so do they, ha!

This year, they both got a spider stuffed toy, some books, a dvd (McCoy-Halloween Sesame Street, Merritt-Halloween Word World), a craft pom pom monster/spider kit, and a few other little things! And everybody got the haunted village gingerbread house!! Can't wait to put it together!!

McCoy's fave was the Elmo DVD and a light up stick thing! Merritt loved the stamps and the stick on mustaches!! Silly boy :)

Now we should have lots of crafty things to keep us busy for awhile! I'll keep you posted :)

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

On the way home from the wedding today, we stopped by the Solsma's Pumpkin Patch!! The boys had do much fun and we got their pumpkins for "carving" and a warted goblin pumpkin to put by our front door! Love it!

Merritt picked out a green-ish pumpkin because his push-ins (we did these last year, way easier than carving, it's like mr. potato head pumpkins!) are Mike Wazowski! He can't wait to put him all together!

We had to strip Merritt all the way down when we got to the car to get all the corn out of his clothes...haha!! Thinking maybe we need to get the corn tubs (that we had for McCoy's birthday party) back out to play with at home! :)

Jennypoo's Wedding!

Yall, the wedding was so gorgeous and she was a beautiful bride! The ceremony was at her parents farm and was just perfect..but of course I was so concerned with grabbing the boys stuff to keep them quiet, I forgot to bring my camera!! Ughhh! I did get some fun shots at the reception though! Merritt was a dancing machine and had so much fun, we might have trouble on our hands! hehe :) Both the boys had a ball at the kids table, and I'm sure had a least 17 suckers!! Yikes!

All the decor at the ceremony and reception was rustic/western, which yall know I adore!! Everything was soo cute!

They went to Iowa State, so there had to be some red and yellow thrown in too! :)

Friday Faves - Pumpkin Edition!

Thought I would share some of the pumpkin-y things we have been enjoying so far this fall!!

I don't usually buy Little Debbies (much to all of my boys dismay!! ha! They are just too tempting to have in the house all the time!) but I can never resist their holiday selections! I always get the Pumpkin Delights, but this is the first year I have seen the Pumpkin Rolls!! And they are Ahhh-mazing!! Are they new?!?!
I had my little "helpers" with me and they insisted on the brownies and shortbread cookies too!!

Now I did have these last year and they are just as fabulous as I remember!! Truly better than anything home-made that I would have spent hours slaving over! Not sure if they are available everywhere, but I have always gotten them at the Walmart!

These Pumpkin Spice bagels are pretty good, but I really prefer getting regular bagels and using the pumpkin spice cream cheese spread...but I couldn't find that on my last trip!

I already shared this, but it is soo yummy! Spice cake and canned pumpkin, that's all (for the bread)! I have also seen a similar recipe for muffins using the same ingredients with the addition of chocolate chips! I'll have to try that!

Happy Pumpkin Spice Season!! :)
