License to Wed!!

On Friday before we headed up to Yankton to celebrate the 4th, we went to Orange City to obtain our Marriage License! It was much less painful than I thought it would be, and only really took about 10 minutes. I was pretty bummed we didn't get to take the actual document with us...it won't be ready until the 9th! The Farmer said I could just go pick it up when I moved up there on the 27th...yeah right he will be there when the doors open on the 9th, so that I can officially cross it off my list!! Thanks to JoJo for crawling out of bed on Friday morning to be our witness/photographer :)

The Mints are done!!! Thanks Momma Ruth and Grandma V!! It really wasn't that bad...once we got them started it seemed to roll right along! As previously mentioned, these are the Farmer's favorite wedding treat! Maybe we will make him a special plate for the head table! I'm not sure what the exact recipe was, but it was just cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint oil...then you rolled up little balls, then rolled them in granulated sugar so they wouldn't stick to the mold! Easy Peasy and sooo cute!! :)

Tag! You're It!!

I wonder if I am the only bride with an 834 pink ear tag in her wedding supplies?!?!? The ear tag will go on the Groom's Cake...I can't wait to see it all come together!!

My house, if the Farmer would have let me take it!!!


If you know me, you know that I adore pigs!! Especially baby piggies!! The fact that the Farmer raises them, perhaps, could be one of the reasons I agreed to marry him!! hehe..just kidding..or am I!!?! ANYWAY I have been dying to see the baby pigs from the new Sow Unit for FOREVER!!! So we went over to see them on Saturday...I could have stayed there all day if it didn't smell like...well...pigs!! Aren't they the cutest thing EVAR?!??! I told the Farmer I wanted one for a wedding present..he quickly said No way! TEAR!!! I suppose if I can't have one of the cute little piggies, I would settle for a Pandora Charm Bracelet!!! HINT HINT!!! Hahaha!
