Dasher!
Fabulous Flowers and other happenings!
Last night we went to our friends Cora and Darren's to watch the Biggest Loser Finale. Cora and I are borderline obsessed with the show..the boys tolerate it!! It was soo fun, and I made some yummy mini brie bites! I forgot to take pics {gasp} but click here for the super easy recipe! Oh and I made a really tasty salsa too (click here) that I think I will definitely make again! I am still trying to decide if I am ok with Michael winning...he was never my fave, and the rhinestone encrusted skull belt buckle he was sporting last night just put me over the edge! I realize it's not a fashion show, but PLEASE, give me a break!! I was really rooting for Ashley, but then didn't care for her look last night either, so last minute I kinda wanted Daris to win...hmmmm guess I will just have to accept it and move on :)
yes that thing...I still can't believe I even got on it, but I'm glad I did!!! Anyway, where was I? Oh yes the interview...so this lady came and took pics and asked all about the Farm and it's history. I will let yall know when the piece comes out :)
Baby Update!
so exciting to see all my farming has paid off...haha!
Busy week ahead...I have to edit pics from the wedding I photographed yesterday (so fun!), do a one year old photo shoot, work on our church's website, and most importantly get ready for Lacie's big wedding weekend!! I can't believe it's almost here! My office is full of fun stuff for her girl's night (can you believe I actually haven't spilled all the fabulous details yet!?! you'll just have to wait!)
My friend Tracey, who lives in South Dakota, is coming here Thursday night then we are headed down to Eureka Springs Friday morning! Given that the bride will be receiving my undivided attention all weekend, the Farmer is staying home. He requires full supervision 24/7, therefore Dasher (the dog) has volunteered to watch after him while I'm away! Plus, Tracey is waaaay better shopping buddy! I will probably blogging when I can, but promise to share complete details when I return.

Chocolate Peanut Buddy Bars
This is another one of the Farmers Momma's Bar Recipes, and there is still more where that came from! stay tuned :)
1 cup of peanut butter
6 tbsp. of softened butter
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup of flour
1/4 tsp. salt
12 oz. of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, blend peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Blend in flour and salt. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Spread into a 9x13 pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Immediately sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Let stand 5 minutes until chocolate becomes shiny and soft. Spread evenly on top. Cool completely and enjoy :)
Happy Birthday to ME!!!!
Such cute wrapping :)
Tulip Festival Fun!
The tulips were everywhere and soo gorgeous!! I snapped a few of the prettiest colors!
Asher, our nephew, drove the cars....
Then the Farmer talked him into riding the Super Slide! Again..it was the Farmer's idea!! I have to tell you, I was pretty surprised that the Farmer would even entertain the idea of going on this, not that it is a big scary roller coaster or anything, but I just never thought he was the "going on rides" type of guy....guess you just never really know a person!! hehe! {Cade & August Ann- after this, I have no doubt you could get Uncle Craig to ride anything with you at Six Flags!! He is a closet amusement park fan..I just know it!!!} Adam (the Farmer's brother) and Seth decided to slide too!!
Now..something a little more my style, The Carousel! Actually, none of this is really my style! I am NOT a closet amusement park fan! I do not care for them at all!! I prefer my feet on solid ground at all times, thank you very much!! Thank goodness I always have my camera to keep me busy!!
We had such a fun day..it helped that it finally warmed up around here!! Hopefully my flowers will come back to life, so I can share some pics with you!! I am also hoping my tomato plants will bounce back from this cold spell as well. They have some sort of spots on the leaves...it could be fatal! stay tuned :)
