Z if for...

Zebra and Zoo! We ate Zebra Cakes and made a fun Zebra in the Zoo! We will read our Z library books, and mainly celebrate all day because we are DONE!! Whew!! :)

Thanks for coming along on this journey with us (whether you wanted to or not! ha!) I think when I do it with McCoy, I will take a lot longer and do a letter a week...maybe then it wont be so stressful and the letter recognition will probably be much more successful!

Happy Friday Friends!!

Y is for...

YoYo!! I printed out this do-a-dots sheet but decided to use little circle stickers instead of the markers! He loved this since he could peel the stickers all by himself! I couldn't find red ones, but he liked the fun bright colors we had!

We will read Hello Yellow and watch Alvin and the Chipmunks, which has nothing at all to do with the letter Y, but Merr has recently developed an obsession with them, so it works for me :)  And we are planning to go get frozen yogurt tonight for dessert!! :)

X if for...

X-ray! We made an X-ray of his hand then played with the Xylophone!

He is always talking about the bones in his hands and face (I can thank Bubble Guppies for that!) so he loved making the X-ray!

Whale! We made cute little whales out of bananas! And then ate them!! Mmmm :) We also had a few whale crackers to finish off our snack! We will read There's a Wocket in my Pocket and The Wheels on the Bus before nap and watch Wonder Pets tonight :)

He loves finding the letters!! Yesterday I asked him if he was going to tell his teacher that he knew his ABC's and he said "yeah, that's how I roll!"  Oh my! Bless his teachers heart! Should be a very interesting year! :)

V is for..

Veggie Tales! I had a volcano craft planned, but lets be real here...I am running out of alphabet steam! ha! And I have pictures I need to edit from a shoot last week, so I quickly printed out a Veggie Tales coloring page, pulled out the Blendy Pens and called it a day!! haha!! He loves to use the pens, you twist them together to make new colors, so he was pleased as punch with today's "craft!"

We will have vanilla wafers for snack and if I get time, we will make the Spring Velvet cake that I found in the back of the cabinet!! The Very Busy Spider will be read before nap, and he is now watching Veggie Tales! Vacuuming is also on the days agenda..think I can get him to do it for me?!?! All in the name of learning, of course!  :)

"Look it's a V!!!"
