Today!

Today we had MOPS and it was our groups turn to bring the brunch! I brought an assortment of muffins and a yogurt parfait! I LOVE this pumpkin muffin recipe (link), so fab!! :) We had a great morning, it's so nice to have time with other moms!!

I decided to bring a little sign, since I always wonder which muffins are which...I HATE blueberry ones, and I'm always scared I will pick one up!! hehe :)

When we got home my new planner was waiting at the door and I shrieked with delight! Now that we have lots more going on, I have really been needing a new way to keep up with everything! I lived with one of these in college and while I was in the working world, but had just been using a simple calendar on my lap top for the past three years!

I got some personalized labels and also jazzed it up with some of my old scrapbook stickers! SOO fun! It also has day by day pages, but I haven't gotten to planning on those yet, they will really come in handy for daily to-do lists! LOVE it :)

Day at the Dentist!

It had been about a year a a half since Merritt's last dentist visit, so he needed to go! He was super scared and did not want to even think about going...he is fine with doctor visits, so I'm not sure where the fear came from?? 

Anyway, I had the cutest little dentist play-doh set in my stash, so I pulled it out and told him he could have it if he would go and be good at the dentist, he said.."um, ok momma!" haha! 

He did great and sat there like a statue the whole time, and had no cavities! Go Merritt!! He got home and showed me his new toothbrush and got right to playing with his dentist play-doh! We have drilled and filled lots of cavities the past few days!! We had one of these sets as kids too and I remember it being so fun! 

I am going to get out all his other play-doh stuff this afternoon after nap. We haven't had it out in awhile since he has been obsessed with his kinetic sand! Excited for it's return, so I can play too!! hehe :)

Sunday Funday!

Yesterday, after naps, we all went out to check the corn, then rode Jake!

Merritt loves to husk the corn and help The Farmer test the moisture.

We had a nice ride on Jake, then did a little show practice! They are bonding and it's soo sweet!! :)

There a few halloween-y things popping up in the house, but this is by far the boys fave!!

I saw it on Pinterest and couldn't resist putting it together for my cheese ball loving men!! :) So festive!! Hoping I can save the container from year to year. I just used sticky back vinyl and cut out the shapes, worked like a charm!!
