Christmasy Things!

Soo here is what I decided to put up for decorations! I toned it back a bit because little hands want to demolish everything!

 

Don't you just love the cage?!?! Hope the tree doesnt get out :)

To say he loves the tree, would be the biggest under statememt of the year!!!

 

 

Merritt's Advent Calendar- I used an old coke crate, put nails at the top of each "pocket" and used small bulldog clips to hold the numbers. This year I decided to fill it with, what other than, Little People!!

My fabulous Nativity! Merritt loves to be held up to it and tell him each figure!

 

 

 

 

These are the Little People he got for Chistmas last year!! And hooray, they make noise!! :) Approved!

Thanksgiving!

My Little Turkey!!

 

 

 

 On Thanksgiving Eve, I decided to make a mini Thanksgiving for our little family! I made a turkey breast in the crock pot, mashed potatoes, gravy (and finally got to use my Fiesta gravy boat that my bestie Brittany got me FOREVER ago when I first moved to MT) cranberry sauce, and cornbread dressing! I was most proud of the dressing!! It started from a box, but I added a ton of stuff, and it sort of resembled my Momma's (originally her Momma's-{my Ma}) famous dressing!! I was SOO proud!! Merritt loved the mashed potatoes best :)

Headed out to the Thanksgiving Church service, after our mini feast! :)

Sorry, I have been slacking on posting, but between work, decorating (stay tuned), planning two birthday parties, making holiday shirts, designing the craziest Christmas Card, and keeping up with Merritt's social calendar, I haven't had much time for blogging...so here goes the updates!!

 

I was so excited to give him the Thanksgiving Little People! The Halloween ones, were getting old! hehe! He didn't really love them as much though, since the Turkey Day ones don't make noise or do anything fun. He did, however, enjoy wielding the benches around like swords and chewing on the turkey!
