Yellowstone Trip Day Four: More wildlife watching, Tower Falls, Idaho, Lower Geyser Basin, and Old Faithful!

One of the faves of the trip was picnicking!! We just stopped everyday, wherever we happened to be and had a picnic! So fun!
Love this niece of mine!! We are really missing here now that she has gone back to school!
She is such a huge help and we are so blessed by her summer visits!!
We headed to West Yellowstone and couldn't resist driving the few miles to Idaho!!
McCoy Fell asleep on the way from Idaho to Lower Geyser Basin and was not impressed that we woke him up!! hehe!! he recovered quickly when he saw this blue pool!! As you know, blue is his very fave!!
The boys LOVE to watch shows about Yellowstone,
the Fountain Paint Pots were one of the things they requested to see!! So fun!
We arrived at Old Faithful five minutes before it went off!!
Of course, this was on their bucket list! Glad we didn't have to wait very long!
We lucked upon these Elk midday! Thankfully we were on the other side of the road and were able to pull over and park to see them, a Ranger was on the other side directing twelve mile backed up traffic!! yikes!
Hard to see, but a Bald Eagle!
Spotted another Black Bear on the way back to the hotel for the night!
